FacilOps wasn't designed in a boardroom. It was built on-site, late nights, and conversations with FM engineers who just wanted to do their jobs without fighting software.
Facilities management support companies are stretched. Engineers juggle dozens of jobs across different sites. Paper forms go missing. Invoices get delayed. Nobody wins. FacilOps is the tool that disappears into the background and lets the work happen.
FacilOps started with a conversation with a facilities manager who was managing 14 engineers using a whiteboard, WhatsApp, and a shared spreadsheet. Jobs were being missed. Invoices were late. Nobody had a clear picture of what was happening.
We looked at what existed on the market and found two types of tools: enterprise suites that took months to implement and cost more than the job itself, or basic job boards that couldn't handle invoicing or engineer tracking. Nothing fit a mid-sized FM team that needed real functionality without the enterprise overhead.
The hardest part isn't the software — it's trust. FM engineers are busy and skeptical of new tools. The dashboard has to be fast enough to use on a mobile screen mid-job, clear enough that a supervisor can see status at a glance, and simple enough that the whole team actually uses it.
We built for that from day one. No bloat, no feature checklist nobody uses — just the job board, the engineers, and the invoices. Everything else is in there for a reason: SFG20 compliance documentation, engineer workload tracking, PDF invoice export. None of it was added until a customer asked for it.
Transparent pricing, no hidden fees, no upsells buried in onboarding. What you see is what you get — and what you get is what you need.
We'd rather ship a fast, focused tool in a week than spend three months adding features nobody asked for. Iteration beats perfection.
Every feature is designed for the person using it in the field — not the manager reviewing reports. If the engineer can't use it on their phone in 30 seconds, we rethink it.
SFG20 isn't a buzzword here — it's how every job gets documented. We build the audit trail in from the start, not as a patch when a customer asks for it.
